Seoul 5-Day Itinerary: A Balanced First Trip at a Comfortable Pace (2026)

Last updated: October 2026 · Written by the Seoul Travel Tips team, based in Seoul

With five days, you can see both of Seoul’s great palaces, spend a full day in modern Gangnam and Seongsu, and still have time for long lunches and afternoon breaks. This plan is paced more slowly than our 3-day itinerary: fewer stops per day, more time in each neighborhood, and the days arranged so you never hit a palace on its closing day.
